APC’s PowerNet Adapters allow connection ofyour APC Smart-UPS or Matrix-UPS to an SNMP managed network for completeenterprise-wide UPS power management.

The PowerNet family includes hardware SNMPadapters for 10BaseT Ethernet and Token Ring environments. APC PowerNet adaptersare compatible with any SNMP-based Network Management System Including HPOpenView Novell ManageWise IBM NetView for AIX Solstice SunNet Manager andmany others. Pass-through capability is featured in SNMP Adapters to providesafe local system shutdown and remote SNMP server management.

All APC PowerNet products utilize the APCPowerNet SNMP MIB a powerful command set which allows complete control andmanagement of the Uninterruptible Power Supplies on the network. AdditionallyAPC PowerNet SNMP Adapter products support the IETF UPS MIB.
