• 20 minutes recording time handles lots of messages! Built-in digital answering machine can store up to 20 minutes of messages, memos, phone calls and announcements — for a total of up to 99 messages. Remote access is available from any touch-tone phone. Record conversations for later playback or transcribing. Call screening/intercept allows you to pick up calls even while the caller is leaving a message — so it's never too late to catch that call!
• Auto attendant greets/routes callers automatically! Saves time and money — calls are automatically routed to the right person! Auto attendant automatically picks up a ringing line after a selected number of rings, plays a selected announcement and redirects incoming calls to other extensions in your phone system. You may designate more than 1 auto attendant for your system (each auto attendant picks up 1 line). Must have more than 1 AT&T 984 phone for this feature to activate.
• Expandable up to a total of 16 stations. Once you have this station, you can add up to 15 more (sold separately) as your business grows. Each additional unit requires its own phone jack and AC power outlet.

Text can be programmed to display in English, Spanish or French for your convenience.
• Speakerphone for hands-free use! Easily switch between talking on the handset, speakerphone or headset — for varying degrees of movement while you talk. Headset jack accommodates most 2-band 2.5 mm headsets (headsets sold separately). Phone is also hearing-aid compatible, and speaker can be used to monitor the sounds in a room.
